For our April event for 2023 the Newcastle Institute is proud to present Tim Costello.
Timothy Costello, AO is an Australian Baptist minister who was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Advocate of World Vision Australia. Costello worked as a lawyer and served as mayor of St Kilda. He has authored a number of books on faith and life. A National Trust poll in 2014 elected him one of Australia’s 100 national living treasures. (Source: Wikipedia)
Tim will be presenting thoughts and ideas based around the topic:
“We live in a community; not an economy.”
As usual; members of the Newcastle Institute enjoy complimentary attendance at all events. We request a donation of $10 from casual attendees. For this event we also extend an invitation to all frontline workers to also enjoy complimentary attendance.
April 19th 2023 , 6pm till 7.30pm at Souths Merewether; Llewelyn Street, Merewether. Please note that this is a week later than our usual meeting date.
